The Project Manager will be a competent, energetic, proactive individual responsible for ensuring the day-to-day management of each project they are responsible for is fulfilled efficiently and to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will be a exceptional person who can work collaboratively with the Principals of the Beijing Office (to whom they will report) as well as our designers,architects, strategists and clients to help deliver brand-defining work. This person will also help to build a dynamic and smooth running office, with a desire to grow with the business and in turn help to make it a successful contributor to the wider Eight Inc. network.

The Project Manager will manage major projects from inception through completion and are primarily responsible for client and delivery expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing budget and schedules
  • Coordinating design staff
  • Documenting meetings and work sessions
  • Generating reports
  • Tracking progress
  • Deliverables and results, and maintaining team morale.

The Project Manager serves as the primary contact for the clients, internal and external team. It requires an understanding of environmental, industrial, and digital interface design and development workflows, excellent verbal and written communications skills, analytical problem solving skills and attention to details. It also requires knowledge of basic office software, graphic presentation software, database and project management softwares.

This role requires an experienced, professional and bilingual individual, with a ‘can do’, nurturing spirit and with proven success in working closely with clients and external agencies to manage and influence extraordinary, profitable work.
