Celebrating and Sharing Architecture Excellence from Across the Globe

Back for the third consecutive year in Singapore, the world’s largest global architecture festival and live awards program takes place next week. With over 65 countries participating, The World Architecture Festival and its interiors sister event, the INSIDE Festival will feature project presentations, industry shaping speakers and many other social experiences for the design community. The 3-day festival will take place at renowned Marina Bay Sands, bringing together over 1,750 architects and designers.

Each year, Eight Inc. has contributed to the mix of projects showcased and is part of the informative program organized to create inspiration and growth in design.

Just recently, Eight Inc. designed the headquarters for the national charity, DonorsChoose.org in New York City and helped create a cost conscious, open and flexible workspace that reflects their core beliefs and identity. Shortlisted for this year’s INSIDE award in the interior office category, New York Studio Director, Jeff Straesser will present the DonorsChoose.org office design and concept.

Last year, Eight Inc. was shortlisted for the Citi Private Bank at the INSIDE festival and previously won for the Malama Learning Center Hawaii in the Future Projects education category in 2009.

Singapore Studio Director, Lucinda Tay, will be speaking at the INSIDE Festival on this year’s theme “The Human Factor” with an inspirational talk on how a space can effect us physically and psychologically. Lucinda will also be one of 48 international judges on the panel at the World Architecture Festival.
