Bradley will focus on integrating firm’s offer and delivery across region.
Experience design firm Eight Inc. has appointed Richard Bradley as Principal of Communications, based out of its Singapore studio.
The appointment is a key senior hire for Eight Inc., as it looks to strengthen the links between its Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo studios. Bradley will work strategically with other Eight Inc. regional leaders to integrate the firm’s offer across Asia Pacific, ensuring it is positioned to deliver to its full capabilities throughout the region.
As a practitioner, he will also focus on developing strategic creative as an integrated element within Eight Inc.’s experience design projects.
Bradley brings over 25 years experience developing creative, strategy and design executions spanning the design, advertising, brand experience and digital marketing fields. His broad background allows him to bridge the gaps between disciplines, to assemble and lead teams with the diverse skills needed to fully realize the opportunities of a rapidly converging world. He will report to Andrew Au, Regional Managing Director at Eight Inc.
“Richard is a creative juggernaut with a very strong track record for design excellence.” said Au. “His holistic approach to human-centered design fits perfectly with Eight Inc. and the work we do.”
Bradley joins from Project Worldwide, where he led the creative and strategic functions across all its agencies in the Asia Pacific region. As a key regional client contact, project stakeholder and hands-on creative, he focused on elevating the quality of the work, driving collaboration and implementing new methodologies and processes.
Having grown up in Hong Kong, Bradley returned in 2015. His career has seen him work extensively across sectors, with a varied client list that includes Google, Nike, Porsche, Jack Daniels, Tencent and Island Records. He has led the creative development of multiple large-scale projects, including the complete digital retail transformation of Telstra, the multiple Cannes Lion-winning Nike Unlimited Stadium—in partnership with BBH, Party and Birdman—and two of Australia’s biggest websites: NRL.com and AFL.com.au.
“Eight Inc.’s holistic approach to experience design seeks to answer clear human needs.” said Bradley. “This and the considered and rigorous way they go about it to create radical and meaningful work is what sets them apart, and is what was so appealing to me.”
