Experience design company, Eight Inc. celebrates another annual San Francisco Design Week (June 4 – June 12) by hosting three separate events.

On June 9th Eight Inc. Principal, Wilhelm Oehl and Studio Director, Scott Smardo, joined by Senior Vice President, Carolina Martin and Chief Technology Officer, Oliver Hurst from DonorsChoose.org will discuss “Designing for the Workspace”.  Moderated by Eleven Inc. founder, Michael Borosky. The discussion will take place at Sherwood Gallery.

Another discussion “We Live Here” will be held on June 11th at wine bar, Union Larder featuring Eight Inc. Principal, Mark Little, Bently Holdings CEO, Christopher Bently, OPA Principal, Luke Ogrydziak, and Union Larder owner Jay Esopenko. Moderated by Creative Cities’ Karen Craig, the panel will talk about adaptive re-use and how it plays into revitalizing the experience of the places in which they exist.

In addition, Eight Inc. will host a portfolio review June 12th, where Eight Inc. Designers will give select design students feedback on their work. Those interested must first submit their portfolio following the guidelines provided. Eight students will then be selected for a one on one critique.

Organized by AIGA San Francisco and a steering committee of multiple design discipline, SF Design Week showcases all the amazing and innovative ideas designers from the Bay Area and Silicon Valley create to share with the world. Activities scheduled for the week include workshops, panel discussions, fashion shows and exhibitions.
